The Skoda Kushaq, a significant player in the mid-size SUV market for nearly four years, is gearing up for a facelift. Test models have been observed, hinting at a launch in the coming year. The 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift will likely preserve its existing engine lineup while incorporating various cosmetic and feature enhancements. This vehicle is positioned to challenge competitors like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara within the mid-size SUV category. Visual updates will likely include a redesigned grille with thinner vertical slats, new headlamps with a connected DRL (Daytime Running Light) setup, and updated fog lamp assemblies. The exterior design will also feature connected tail lamps inspired by the new Kodiaq, along with redesigned front and rear bumpers and new alloy wheels. Interior enhancements are expected to include updated upholstery and trim options. The feature upgrades will highlight Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) and a panoramic sunroof. Existing features such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-inch digital driver display, an 8-speaker sound system, a wireless phone charger, automatic AC with rear vents, ventilated front seats, 6 airbags, hill hold assist, a 360-degree camera, a rear parking camera with sensors, and ISOFIX child seat anchorage will continue to be available. Engine options are expected to remain consistent. The 2025 Skoda Kushaq facelift may come equipped with both 1.0-liter TSI and 1.5-liter TSI petrol engines, delivering 115PS (178Nm) and 150PS (250Nm) of peak power, respectively. These engines will be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox, with the larger engine available with a 7-speed DCT (Dual-Clutch Transmission) automatic gearbox.
