In a video conference held from the Mahanadi Bhawan Ministry in Nava Raipur, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai reviewed the progress of government schemes with district collectors. The meeting focused on a detailed assessment of developmental activities across the state, with the Chief Minister issuing critical directives to various officials.
The Chief Minister conducted a district-wise assessment, seeking detailed information on the status of cases related to name transfers, land divisions (both undisputed and disputed), record corrections, error rectifications, land acquisition, boundary demarcations, and land diversions.
He emphasized that frequent hearings not only burden the public financially but also waste their time and effort, thereby eroding trust in the government’s efficiency. He instructed officials to minimize the number of hearings and ensure timely resolution of cases.
Key officials, including Principal Secretary Subodh Kumar Singh, were instructed to ensure all revenue cases are registered in e-Courts for efficient monitoring and tracking. Special attention was also directed towards rectifying records and correcting errors. A special campaign was ordered at the tehsil level, utilizing patwaris, to improve record accuracy.
Highlighting the importance of national highway projects, the Chief Minister emphasized the need to expedite land acquisition to facilitate the swift implementation of the National Highways and Bharatmala projects. Collectors were instructed to promptly address pending land acquisition and compensation disbursement issues.
The Chief Minister also emphasized the need to complete land acquisition and compensation distribution related to projects such as roads, railways, and mobile towers in the Bastar division, specifically in Narayanpur, Dantewada, Sukma, and Bijapur.
Chief Minister Sai reiterated the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability in revenue administration. He stressed that a just and efficient governance system requires timely justice for citizens, and urged officials to ensure prompt and fair resolution of cases.
He also directed officials to accelerate farmer registration, aiming to enroll all eligible farmers promptly. Officials were instructed to take the digital crop survey seriously and complete it on schedule.
The Silver Jubilee celebrations commemorating 25 years of Chhattisgarh’s formation commenced on August 15 and will continue for 25 weeks. Chief Minister Sai instructed district collectors to organize local events, turning the Silver Jubilee into a celebration of public participation. He encouraged uploading program details to the portal and enhancing publicity.
The Chief Minister announced that a Seva Pakhwada (Service Fortnight) would be observed from September 17 to October 2, as part of the Chhattisgarh Silver Jubilee. This period will feature public service initiatives like blood donation camps, health camps, and revenue camps. He encouraged connecting this occasion with every citizen to bolster public engagement.
The review meeting was attended by key officials including Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Secretaries to the Chief Minister Rahul Bhagat, P. Dayanand, Finance Secretary Mukesh Bansal, PCCF Sunil Mishra, Secretary of Public Works Department Kamalpreet Singh, Secretary of Revenue Department Reena Babasaheb Kangale, Managing Director of the Culture Department Vivek Acharya, along with other departmental secretaries, commissioners, and directors.
