Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai held a video conference with district collectors and divisional commissioners to review the implementation of government schemes, emphasizing the need for efficient governance and public service. The meeting, conducted from the Mahanadi Bhawan Ministry in Nava Raipur, focused on a comprehensive review of development plans across all districts. The Chief Minister’s district-wise review encompassed a detailed examination of cases related to land-related matters, including name transfers, property divisions, record maintenance, and land acquisition processes. A key directive from the Chief Minister was to reduce the frequency of hearings, aiming to alleviate financial burdens and time constraints on the public. He stressed the importance of resolving cases promptly to maintain public trust in the administrative system. Officials were instructed to ensure timely resolution of issues. The Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Subodh Kumar Singh, issued instructions to register all revenue cases in e-Courts to facilitate monitoring and tracking. Furthermore, he highlighted the need for meticulous record-keeping and error correction, including a special campaign led by patwaris at the tehsil level. The Chief Minister underscored the importance of land acquisition for national highway projects, urging collectors to accelerate the process. He specifically directed the prompt resolution of pending land acquisition and compensation distribution cases. In the Bastar division, land acquisition and compensation for crucial infrastructure projects, such as roads, railways, and mobile towers, were prioritized. The Chief Minister emphasized the state government’s commitment to transparency and accountability in revenue administration, stressing that justice must be delivered without delay. He directed officials to ensure the timely and equitable resolution of all cases. The Chief Minister also instructed officials to accelerate the farmer registration process and to give serious attention to digital crop surveys, ensuring their timely completion. The meeting also addressed preparations for the 25th-anniversary celebrations of Chhattisgarh’s formation, which will be marked by a 25-week long silver jubilee starting August 15. Collectors were directed to organize public participation events and to ensure widespread publicity. As part of the celebrations, a Seva Pakhwada (Service Fortnight) will be observed from September 17th to October 2nd, featuring public service initiatives such as blood donation and health camps. The meeting was attended by senior government officials, including the Chief Secretary, various Secretaries, Commissioners, and Directors from key departments.
