Asia Cup 2025: India’s Squad Announcement Today, Key Players Under Consideration

The selection of India’s squad for the 2025 Asia Cup is set to be revealed today, bringing an end to weeks of speculation. The team will compete in the United Arab Emirates. A press conference will be held in Mumbai by the chief selector, Ajit Agarkar, at the BCCI office to unveil the team. The tournament is scheduled to begin on September 9th and will be played in the T20 format. The selection process has become more complex due to the change in format. Over the past year, the T20 team has operated separately from the ODI and Test teams. Several players from the ODI and Test teams have become central to the selection debate.
