The FASTag Annual Pass, introduced on August 15, 2025, has quickly gained popularity. In a span of only four days, over 500,000 users across India have subscribed to the service. Tamil Nadu led the way in pass purchases, followed by Karnataka and Haryana. The busiest toll plazas, in terms of transactions, were located in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh.
The Rajmargyatra app has also experienced remarkable growth. It has climbed to 23rd in overall rankings and secured the second position in the travel category on the Google Play Store. The app has garnered over 1.5 million downloads and boasts a 4.5-star rating. This has propelled it to the position of top government app in the country within just four days of its debut.
The FASTag Annual Pass allows for seamless travel at approximately 1,150 toll plazas nationwide. For ₹3,000, users can enjoy a year of unlimited travel, or up to 200 toll crossings, without the need for frequent recharges. The pass is activated within two hours of purchase and is available through the Rajmargyatra app and the NHAI website.
