To foster hockey enthusiasm among the masses, the Trophy Glory Journey is making its way through Bihar’s districts, alongside stops in Chennai, Chandigarh (Punjab, Haryana), Delhi, Odisha, Assam, and Jharkhand. This initiative seeks to engage young people with hockey, promote a sports-centric environment, and encourage public involvement in this significant event.
After visiting Patna’s Marine Drive, Gandhi Maidan, and Patna City Gurudwara on August 17th, the Trophy Glory Journey proceeded to Vaishali, Muzaffarpur, Bhojpur, and Buxar this morning. Vaishali offered a warm reception to the Trophy Glory Journey.
The welcome event at NN College Singhara Mahua saw District Magistrate Varsha Singh, the chief guest, present garlands to the trophy and participating players. Joining her were Sports Officer Rakesh Kumar, SDO Mahua Kislay Kushwaha, DSP Sandeep Kumar, DPO Santosh Kumar, Ravindra Kumar Shah, and a crowd of local residents and athletes. The event resonated with the rallying cry, ‘Khel Ke Rang Bihar Ke Sang’.
At the District Sports Office in Bhojpur, District Sports Officer Alok Kumar Gautam, Hockey Sangh Secretary Ratan Kumar, along with Vijay Kumar Singh, Dilip Kumar, Ashish Kumar Mishra, and Vijay Kumar Singh from the Cricket Sangh Bhojpur, were among the key figures who welcomed the Trophy Glory Journey, together with numerous players and locals.
Everywhere the Trophy Glory Journey goes, it is being greeted with enthusiastic welcomes. The enthusiasm of youngsters and players for the sport is truly inspiring. The Trophy Glory Journey is scheduled to reach Rajgir by August 29th, after touring all districts of Bihar.
