In an interview with ESPNcricinfo, Cheteshwar Pujara was asked which of his teammates has the greatest potential to become the future coach of Team India. Pujara immediately named former Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin. Pujara was merely expressing his opinion. R. Ashwin had retired from international cricket in December of the previous year, following the third Test match during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which came as a shock to the fans. Ashwin holds the second position for taking the most wickets for India in Test cricket.
