The buzz surrounding Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 19 is intensifying ahead of its premiere. The show’s producers unveiled a promotional video on Instagram that highlights a unique season twist, giving the audience the power to select the contestants.
Two candidates have been identified for a potential entry into the show: Shahbaz Badesha, brother of Bigg Boss 13’s Shehnaaz Gill, and Mridul Tiwari, a popular YouTuber. The public’s votes will determine who joins the show’s cast.
Mridul Tiwari, a renowned YouTuber, commands a massive following of over 18 million subscribers on his channel, The Mridul. He is celebrated for his comedic sketches. Mridul rose to fame in 2019 with the viral success of his video, School Life. Originally from Etawah and now residing in Noida, Mridul was also linked to a hit-and-run case in Noida, though investigations clarified that he wasn’t behind the wheel at the time.
Shahbaz Badesha, who is Shehnaaz Gill’s brother, is already known to Bigg Boss viewers, having appeared in Season 13.
Numerous rumors are circulating on social media about potential celebrity contestants for ‘Bigg Boss 19’. Some of the names mentioned include Amaal Malik, Faisu Malik, Apoorva Mukhija, and Dhanashree Verma, as well as actors Rati Pandey and Bhavika Sharma. Khushi Dubey, a well-known television actress, has also confirmed that she has been approached to participate in the show. Nevertheless, the official list of participants for ‘Bigg Boss 19’ remains unconfirmed.
The show’s duration has been extended for this season, which will last five months, contrasting with the usual three-month run of prior seasons. Salman Khan is expected to host for three months, followed by Karan Johar, Farah Khan, and Anil Kapoor. Karan Veer Mehra won the previous season, with Vivian Dsena as the first runner-up. Others who participated in the finale included Avinash Mishra, Rajat Dalal, Esha Singh and Chum Darang.
