He also recounted Krishna’s joyful time in Gokul, bringing happiness to the cowherd community. Swami Maharaj stated that the Bhagavad Gita continues to preserve these and many other aspects of Krishna’s life.
Swami Maharaj described the Bhagavad Gita as Lord Krishna’s greatest gift to the world, stressing the scripture’s universal relevance. He suggested that aligning one’s life with the Gita’s principles leads to a constant awareness of God’s presence. The celebration of Janmashtami becomes truly meaningful when the knowledge of the Bhagavad Gita is understood and applied to everyday life.
