During his visit to Dharamjaigarh, a day before Independence Day, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai unveiled development projects worth ₹62.36 crore for the residents of Raigarh district. This included the inauguration of 45 projects, valued at ₹42.99 crore, and the foundation stone laying for 70 projects, with a total cost of ₹19.36 crore.
Among the inaugurated projects was a bridge over Bhengari Nala on the Dharamjaigarh-Aedukala road, constructed for ₹5.25 crore. Another significant project was a bridge over the Kharun River on the Pakargaon road in Lailunga, costing ₹6.39 crore. A substantial investment was made in a single-village piped water supply scheme across Kharsia, Lailunga, and Dharamjaigarh, which totaled ₹28.53 crore.
Additional completed projects included the Retrofitting and Solar-based Piped Water Supply Scheme. Primary Health Centers were inaugurated in Bahirkela of Dharamjaigarh and Lamdand of Lailunga, each with a budget of ₹75 lakh. The construction of a community building in Konpara village of Ghargoda, costing ₹7 lakh, was also completed. The inauguration also encompassed the CSPDCL 33/11 kV, 3.15 MVA work at the Khadgaon sub-center in Dharamjaigarh, with a cost of ₹1.25 crore.
The foundation laying ceremony included the construction of Po.Mai. Tribal Boys’ Hostel buildings at seven sites across the district, totaling ₹13.28 crore. These hostels will be situated in Dhaurabhatha, Tamnar, Lailunga, Ghatgaon, Gharghoda, Bakaruma, and Dharamjaigarh.
Other ground-breaking initiatives included the construction of a watchtower in RF room number 643 in Dharamjaigarh, costing ₹20.33 lakh, and a patrolling camp in room number 11 RF Kumarta, with an investment of ₹10.88 lakh. Numerous projects like culverts, CC roads, footways, RCC culverts, shed construction, community buildings, panchayat buildings, and Mangal Bhavans were also initiated in the Gram Panchayats of Dharamjaigarh, totaling ₹2.54 crore. Moreover, repair work for 44 health centers across Lailunga, Dharamjaigarh, and Kharsia assembly constituencies was also initiated, amounting to ₹3.22 crore.
