Similarly, gaining access through a user-installed application can earn up to $150,000 (approximately 1.31 crore rupees).
The financial rewards differ depending on the vulnerability. Attacks that involve user interaction on the network could bring in $250,000 (approximately 2.18 crore rupees). Hackers who manage to launch a zero-click attack (no user interaction needed) are eligible for a $1 million (approximately 8.74 crore rupees) reward. The same amount is offered for those who can carry out a remote attack on a private cloud computation.
The biggest reward, a massive $2 million (approximately 17.49 crore rupees), awaits the hacker who succeeds in bypassing the security of an iPhone in Lockdown Mode. This mode is designed to give users an advanced level of protection from digital threats. The program’s scope includes Apple products like iPhones, Watches, and Macs.
It’s important to note that vulnerabilities related to Apple Pay, phishing attempts, or social engineering are excluded from the program. Additionally, the benefits of this program are specific to Apple’s hardware and software, and do not apply to third-party services.
