Addressing the crowd with chants of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Chhattisgarh Mahtari Ki Jai,’ Chief Minister Sai noted India’s rise as a powerful and respected nation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He highlighted the courage demonstrated by Indian soldiers during Operation Sindoor, following the recent attack in Pahalgam, calling it a moment of national pride and a testament to the tricolor’s significance.
Highlighting the vision for a ‘Developed India 2047’, Chief Minister Sai stated that the tricolor’s importance will be amplified through the country’s economic strength. He pointed out Chhattisgarh’s commitment to this vision through its ‘Chhattisgarh Anjor Vision’ document, which outlines the state’s comprehensive development strategy.
Chief Minister Sai urged all citizens to actively participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, honoring the freedom fighters by displaying the tricolor at their homes.
The Tiranga Yatra, organized in Raipur, was part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai participated in the yatra, which commenced from Shaheed Smarak Bhavan and proceeded to Telibandha, walking alongside thousands of citizens to spread the message of patriotism. The atmosphere resonated with patriotic fervor, echoing the chants of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’.
Raipur MP Brijmohan Agrawal described the tricolor as a symbol of honor, unity, and identity. He mentioned the nationwide organization of Tiranga Yatras under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, and stated that Chhattisgarh is progressing under Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s guidance. The Tiranga Yatra honored the soldiers who dedicated their lives to protecting the flag. Former soldiers who served in various military operations were also recognized.
Legislator Kiran Singh Deo emphasized the tricolor as a symbol of national identity and strength, uniting the nation and reminding citizens of their shared identity as Indians. He praised the progress of Chhattisgarh under the combined leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai.
The Tiranga Yatra witnessed the presence of numerous dignitaries, including MLA Sunil Soni, Motilal Sahu, Purandar Mishra, Mayor Minal Choubey, President of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Nilu Sharma, President of Raipur Development Authority Nand Kumar Sahu, President of Chhattisgarh State Civil Supplies Corporation Sanjay Srivastava, President of Chhattisgarh Sahitya Akademi Shashank Sharma, and President of CSIDIC Rajiv Agarwal, along with many public representatives, officials, and distinguished citizens.
