Traffic authorities in Jammu and Kashmir seized a Range Rover SUV on Tuesday. The vehicle was transporting actor Akshay Kumar from the Jammu airport. The SUV was taken into custody by traffic police near Dogra Chowk because it had tinted windows, a violation of local regulations. Akshay Kumar was not in the vehicle at the time of the seizure. The traffic police stated that the law applies equally to all, and the vehicle was impounded because tinted windows are not permitted in Jammu. The owner must remove the illegal window tint and pay a fine to recover the car. The Supreme Court has issued guidelines for window tinting, requiring a minimum visibility of 70% for front and rear windows, and 50% for side windows.
