Jairam Ramesh, a Congress leader, voiced his concern on Monday about the absence of Jagdeep Dhankhar, the former Rajya Sabha Chairman and former Vice President, who has not been seen since the evening of July 21st. Dhankhar had resigned from the Vice President’s post on July 21st.
Ramesh probed the context of a meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, inquiring about the situation. He highlighted that the former Chairman of the Rajya Sabha has been missing since the evening of July 21st, being neither seen nor heard from.
In a post on X, the Congress leader raised questions. Reports in Telugu media indicated that the former Chairman of the Rajya Sabha (M. Venkaiah Naidu) recently met with Prime Minister Modi for 45 minutes. “What is going on?” Ramesh questioned. Jagdeep Dhankhar has remained out of public view since his resignation as Vice President on July 21st, while Venkaiah Naidu met with Prime Minister Modi during a recent visit to Delhi.
