Hero MotoCorp is focusing on expanding its market share by launching new models. The company recently teased a new bike, hinting at an upcoming launch. The new 125cc motorcycle is scheduled for release on August 19-20, 2025, with the model name still undisclosed. Hero already offers several 125cc models, including the Super Splendor, Glamour, and Xtreme 125R. The new launch is likely an updated version of an existing model, potentially the Glamour 125. The updated Glamour has been spotted in test runs, showcasing a cruise control feature, usually absent in commuter bikes. This addition marks a significant move by Hero MotoCorp, making it a pioneer in its segment. Cruise control allows riders to maintain a constant speed without using the throttle, increasing comfort on long rides. The cruise control toggle is located near the ignition, and the switchgear has been updated with buttons to control the new LCD instrument panel, similar to the Karizma XMR 210 and Xtreme 250R. The current Hero Glamour starts at ₹95,098 (ex-showroom). It features a 124.7cc air-cooled engine producing 10.3 bhp and 10.4 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox, and offers up to 65 kmpl mileage. The updated model is expected to retain these specifications, with cruise control likely available on the top-spec Xtec variant. The price of the new model, with the added cruise control feature, is yet to be announced.
