To utilize the Motion Photo feature on WhatsApp, your smartphone must possess the inherent capability to capture such images. Furthermore, even if your device lacks the motion photo capture functionality, you will still be able to view motion photos received from others.
Beyond the Motion Photo feature, WhatsApp is also developing a new feature where users can share usernames instead of phone numbers, thereby enhancing security and privacy during chat sessions.
