Hyundai is poised to launch the next-generation Venue in India on October 24th. This highly anticipated sub-compact SUV is expected to make a significant impact in the market, competing with rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Tata Nexon. The original Venue was introduced in 2019, with a facelift in 2022.
The upcoming Venue aims to capture attention with updated aesthetics and features, going head-to-head with competitors like Skoda Kushaq and Kia Sonet.
Design Details of the Next-Gen Venue
Spy shots have revealed design elements, including a refreshed exterior. While retaining its signature boxy profile, the new Venue is expected to receive cosmetic enhancements such as split LED DRLs and a more squared-off headlamp setup. Design cues from the Hyundai Accent and Alcazar are evident, particularly in the front grille.
Connected LED Tail Lamps and Exterior Updates
Front parking sensors, not available in the current model, are expected. Side profile changes include new alloy wheels, increased black cladding, and angular ORVMs. The design will not feature flush-type door handles.
At the rear, connected LED tail lamps, a silver-finished bumper, and a black shark fin antenna are probable upgrades.
Enhanced Interior Features
Inside, the next-gen Venue is expected to boast major cabin upgrades, including a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Additional features may consist of climate control, wireless phone charging, and a Level 1 ADAS package.
Powertrain Options
The new Venue will likely offer the same engine options as the current model: a 1.2-liter petrol, 1.0-liter turbo petrol, and a 1.5-liter diesel. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, and a 7-speed DCT for select variants.
