A mobile shop in Ranchi was the target of a significant theft, with criminals making off with 28 iPhones. The shop, located on Harmu Road, was broken into, and the thieves managed to steal the phones, which were estimated to be worth around 30 lakh rupees. The shop owner, Rahul Kumar Shukla, discovered the break-in when he arrived at the store on Friday morning.
Upon inspection, Shukla found that the shop’s shutter had been cut and the lock broken. Inside, 28 mobile phones, including iPhones, were missing from the display counters. The shop owner filed a complaint at the Kotwali police station. Police are currently investigating the incident, reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding area and utilizing other technical methods to apprehend the thieves responsible for the 30 lakh rupee theft.
