A technical fault has caused a delay for an IndiGo flight at Lucknow Airport, impacting passengers heading to Dehradun. The flight, 6E 515, was preparing for takeoff when the issue was detected. The aircraft has been taken to the taxiway while engineers work to fix the problem.
The incident has caused considerable inconvenience, particularly for those traveling during the Raksha Bandhan festival. The flight was carrying around 158 passengers and 6 crew members. This is not the first technical issue experienced by IndiGo flights at the Lucknow Airport.
In related news, a training aircraft in Baramati, Maharashtra, was involved in an incident during landing. The front wheel reportedly malfunctioned, causing the aircraft to skid. The training aircraft belonged to the Red Bird training institute. The incident occurred at approximately 7:45 am. Fortunately, there were no injuries. This event follows a request from the BJP Yuva Morcha to revoke Red Bird’s certification due to prior incidents.
