A jaw-dropping event has unfolded in Bihar’s Jamui district, where a laborer was stunned to find an incomprehensible amount of money in his bank account. The worker, Teni Manjhi, discovered approximately 10 trillion, 1 crore, 35 lakh, and 6 thousand rupees in his account, a sum beyond his ability to calculate.
Details reveal that Teni Manjhi, a resident of Achhari village, Sadar police station area, found this massive deposit on Tuesday. The unexpected wealth left him in a state of shock. Manjhi is employed as a plumber in Jaipur.
The incident began when Manjhi, needing to send money for his father’s medication on Wednesday morning, checked his mobile balance. He was astonished to see an amount so vast that it exceeded the screen’s display capacity. He promptly informed his family and announced his intention to visit the bank.
The news of the gigantic sum attracted a gathering at his home. When Teni Manjhi attempted to withdraw the money, the bank swiftly froze his account. He had opened this account five years ago while working as a laborer in Mumbai. The entire situation has been brought to the attention of the cybercrime police.
Manjhi’s family, residing in Achhari village, includes his father, Kaleshwar Manjhi, who is also a laborer. Kaleshwar Manjhi shared that his son told him about the unexpected money, but neither of them knew its source or the precise amount. Teni Manjhi, who is not well-educated, stated that he only had 500 rupees in his account before this astonishing discovery.
Bank authorities have launched an investigation, considering the possibility of a technical error or a cybercrime as the cause for the massive deposit. The bank is actively working to ascertain how and from where this substantial amount was transferred into Teni Manjhi’s account.
