Following the Supreme Court’s reprimand of Rahul Gandhi, the Congress party has launched a scathing attack on the BJP government, accusing it of employing a ‘DDLJ’ (Deny, Distract, Lie, and Justify) strategy in handling the border dispute with China. Jairam Ramesh, a prominent Congress leader, highlighted the Galwan incident of June 2020, where 20 Indian soldiers lost their lives. He asserted that instead of addressing the concerns and questions arising from this event, the government has been focused on obfuscation and diversion. Ramesh outlined eight key questions the Congress is posing to the government, challenging its narrative and actions concerning the situation at the border and India-China relations.
