The body of a man was found on Saturday night in the Akharaghat embankment area of the Sikanderpur police station jurisdiction in Muzaffarpur. The deceased has been identified as Baidyanath Patel (40), who earned a living by driving an e-rickshaw to support his family. He had been missing since Saturday morning. The police, after being informed, took possession of the body and initiated an investigation. Relatives have alleged that Baidyanath was beaten to death.
