A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, where a family of three was found dead in an apparent suicide. The incident took place in the Nageshwar Enclave apartment in the Choria Toli area of Latma Road, under the Jagannathpur police station. Police took possession of the bodies and sent them for post-mortem examination. The deceased were identified as Sanyukta Singh and her two children, who were both minors. Sanyukta Singh was separated from her husband, Brijesh Singh. They had been embroiled in a dispute for an extended period, which was also under legal review in court. Brijesh Singh was residing in Bihar, and Sanyukta was living with her children in the Ranchi apartment. Sources indicate that the couple’s relationship was strained due to domestic issues. Furthermore, they were struggling with financial hardships. It is believed that these challenging circumstances drove Sanyukta to take the extreme step, along with her children. The incident was discovered when Brijesh Singh came to the apartment with supplies for his children. After repeated attempts to open the door failed, he sought help from neighbors and called the police. Upon gaining entry by breaking the door, police discovered the bodies of Sanyukta and her children hanging in the bedroom. The police secured the area and requested assistance from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team for a thorough investigation. The FSL team collected evidence, and the bodies were sent for a post-mortem examination. Police have indicated that the preliminary investigation suggests the tragic event was caused by domestic disputes and financial difficulties, leading to suicide. The local community is deeply saddened and shocked. The police are currently questioning Brijesh Singh and relatives to ascertain the precise reasons behind the deaths.
