In a press release issued on Wednesday, Rural Development Minister Deepika Pandey Singh emphasized the Jharkhand government’s continuous efforts in rural development. She stated that the government is actively implementing schemes and working at the grassroots level in rural areas to boost employment and self-sufficiency.
Minister Pandey Singh highlighted the government’s commitment to making villages self-reliant and improving the lives of citizens. Under Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s leadership, significant progress is being made in rural development through planned initiatives and on-the-ground actions. The state government is focused on timely completion of ongoing projects and is also giving serious consideration to future welfare schemes.
She mentioned various schemes, including rural road construction, the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA), and the Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS), which aim to promote employment and self-reliance, particularly through women’s groups. The government is prioritizing the completion of projects approved in the previous year while also accelerating the implementation of new schemes.
Minister Pandey Singh asserted her primary goal of ensuring timely and effective completion of all public welfare schemes. She reiterated the state government’s commitment to making villages self-sufficient, empowering women, and providing prosperity and opportunities to every citizen.
