Bhilai is set to host a grand Shiva Mahapurana Katha during the holy month of Shravan. Pandit Pradeep Mishra, an internationally acclaimed storyteller, is scheduled to deliver the Katha at the Jayanti Stadium in Bhilai. The ground-breaking ceremony for this significant event has already taken place. The Shiva Mahapurana, scheduled from July 30th to August 5th, will see the participation of prominent figures including CM Vishnu Deo Sai, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, and the two Deputy CMs.
Day Singh, the organizer of the Shiva Mahapurana Katha, and Deputy Leader of Opposition in Bhilai Corporation, mentioned that SSP Vijay Agrawal, ASP Sukhnandan Rathore, and other officials reviewed the preparations for the event. Mayor Neeraj Pal, along with municipal officials, also attended the inspection. Day Singh received congratulations from the Mayor for the second year of the Katha, who pledged to be present to experience the Katha.
