Weather Alert: Delhi to Witness Rainfall for Five Days; Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Mountain Regions to Face Heavy Downpour

The cyclonic circulation forming near the Andhra Pradesh coast in the Bay of Bengal is expected to bring rain to various states. In Delhi, the capital city, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder is anticipated today. The sky is likely to remain overcast throughout the day. The weather department forecasts rainfall in Delhi until July 28th. Today’s maximum temperature in Delhi is predicted to be 31 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 25 degrees Celsius. On July 24th, the maximum temperature in Delhi could rise by two degrees Celsius, reaching 33 degrees Celsius. The weather department anticipates light rain in several districts of Uttar Pradesh. Some areas of the state might also experience heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning. The monsoon has regained its pace in Bihar after a brief lull. The weather department suggests light rain in parts of Bihar today, with heavy rainfall expected in several districts for the next seven days starting Thursday. Similar weather conditions are expected in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, and Madhya Pradesh. The mountainous regions are also receiving significant rainfall. Himachal Pradesh is expected to witness heavy rainfall from July 26th to 28th. Uttarakhand is currently experiencing heavy rainfall, with the possibility of more until July 28th. Jammu and Kashmir is also facing heavy rainfall, with rain expected in different areas until July 24th. Southern India will also continue to see rainfall. Heavy rainfall is predicted in Goa, Konkan, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana over the next 6-7 days. The weather department has issued an Orange Alert for heavy rainfall in Meghalaya, in Northeast India.
