The Baba Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar, Jharkhand, is experiencing a massive influx of devotees during the Sawan month. The temple opened early Tuesday morning, and since then, a continuous stream of worshippers has been performing Jalabhishek. The number of devotees who have offered prayers has surpassed 1.8 million. To enhance the experience, the administration has set up cooling measures like water sprays to ease the heat. A large contingent of security personnel, including magistrates, police, and specialized teams, are in place to ensure a safe and orderly environment for all visitors. Advanced technology, such as CCTV cameras and drones, is also being used for surveillance.
