In a remarkable turn of events in Chhattisgarh’s Gariaband district, a man named Nakul has chosen a unique path. Abandoning his profession as a bus driver, Nakul has embraced a life centered around horses. His family follows his lead, using horses for all their transportation needs. He also offers horseback riding services within his community. Nakul made this change due to the constant risks associated with driving at high speeds.
Nakul BC, a 48-year-old resident of Banuwapara in the Mainpur block of Gariaband, made the transition from bus driving to a life on horseback. For the last decade, he and his family have depended on horses for travel. He is the owner of two horses and began his career as a bus conductor at the age of 20, later becoming a driver.
