Delhi, the national capital, has seen relatively mild and pleasant weather in recent days. The monsoon is expected to remain active, and the day will start with good rainfall, followed by clearing conditions. Wind speeds could range from 25 to 40 kilometers per hour. The weather department expects rain in Delhi through July 17th.
Uttar Pradesh is preparing for another bout of heavy rainfall. Heavy precipitation is anticipated in many parts of eastern and western UP within the next 24 hours, with thunderstorms likely in several areas. Rain is anticipated in various districts of eastern UP, and thundershowers could occur in certain districts of western UP.
Rain is also expected in Punjab, Haryana, Jharkhand, and northern Rajasthan, ranging from light to moderate. West Bengal, Odisha, and Kerala also have a chance of experiencing rain. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is forecasted for eastern Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Furthermore, heavy rainfall is possible in western Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, coastal Karnataka, the Gujarat region, and isolated areas of Assam and Meghalaya.
The mountainous regions have been significantly impacted by severe weather. Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand recently experienced intense rainfall. A new western disturbance is developing in the western Himalayas, which may bring rain to Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The possibility of flash floods and landslides may escalate due to the rain, increasing the risk of cloudbursts.
