In a recent decision, the government has ruled that B.Ed teachers whose services were terminated but are now being appointed as Assistant Teacher Science Lab will not have their previous service years counted for seniority. The implication is that their prior teaching experience with B.Ed qualifications will not be considered for determining their position in the seniority list.
The DPI has issued directives to the DEOs, excluding Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur, and Janjgir-Champa districts. They are instructed to establish new employee codes and service records. The tenure served by these teachers in their previous roles as Assistant Teachers, before termination, will not contribute towards their eligibility for the current position.
