He also pointed out India’s political stability, as the same government was re-elected for a third consecutive term. Highlighting India’s space program, Modi drew connections between India’s achievements and Africa. Addressing global issues, he called for reforms in global governance to tackle climate change, pandemics, terrorism, and cybersecurity. He celebrated India’s democratic values and diversity, stating that India welcomes everyone. Modi also praised the bond between India and Ghana and the integration of the Indian diaspora in Ghana. He was conferred with The Officer of the Order of the Star of Ghana, the country’s highest civilian honor, and dedicated the award to the youth of both countries. The visit marked the first by an Indian Prime Minister in over three decades, solidifying the relationship between the nations.
