Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, was welcomed in Ranchi by Sanjay Seth, the Minister of State for Defence and MP from Ranchi. Babulal Marandi, the BJP state president, was also in attendance. Gadkari’s itinerary includes a trip to Garhwa, followed by his return to Ranchi for the inauguration of the Ratu Road Elevated Corridor, scheduled for 3 PM.
Before the inauguration, Gadkari will pay respects at the Birsa Munda statue in Birsa Chowk. He will then participate in a motorcycle rally to the OTC ground, where he will address a public meeting. The minister will also lay the foundation stones for several NH projects in Jharkhand. High-ranking officials from NHAI will be present. A review of the flyover will also be conducted. Later, at Hotel Radisson Blu, Gadkari will meet with officials to discuss NH projects and give directions on transport-related matters. Gadkari will depart from Ranchi Airport at 6:45 PM.
