A woman’s life took a devastating turn after being sold by her uncle for a sum of Rs 1.5 lakh in Madhya Pradesh. Her husband subsequently forced her into prostitution, bringing home different men. The woman, hailing from Balrampur district, reported that her uncle sold her to Rajesh Ghosh, who then forced her into the sex trade and beat her. The victim claimed that the husband took all the money she earned. The police initially delayed registering her complaint. A case has been filed against the husband, and further investigation is in progress. The victim stated she was taken to Indore and Gwalior and made to engage in the same activities.
