Both leaders recognized their responsibility to uphold peace, security, and the global non-proliferation regime, particularly concerning Iran’s right to peaceful nuclear energy within the framework of the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
France has been a major supporter of Kyiv, providing substantial military aid. However, Macron has indicated a potential shift in approach, acknowledging constraints on further weapon supplies and suggesting dialogue with Moscow within the context of broader European security discussions.
