Following the tragic death of Shefali Jariwala, Varun Dhawan has criticized the media for what he perceives as insensitive coverage. The actor shared his thoughts on Instagram, urging the media to show more ‘sensitivity’ and ‘respect’ when reporting on a celebrity’s death. Dhawan specifically addressed the paparazzi’s actions in documenting the grief of those mourning Jariwala. He questioned the value of such coverage, noting the apparent discomfort it causes those involved. His comments were prompted by the media’s extensive coverage of Jariwala’s funeral, where her husband, Parag Tyagi, and other family members were seen in distress. Tyagi himself had appealed to the media for privacy. Shefali Jariwala’s death occurred late Friday. Rushed to a Mumbai hospital, she was declared dead on arrival. Early reports hinted at a cardiac arrest, though the precise cause of death is still under investigation. Jariwala’s career included a role in the film ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ and participation in reality shows such as ‘Bigg Boss 13’ and ‘Nach Baliye’ alongside her husband.
