The much-awaited Rath Yatra was celebrated with great enthusiasm at KISS Shrivani Kshetra and Devbhoomi in Jindal Nagar, Odisha. In Shrivani Kshetra, the day started with morning rituals. The Chhera Pahanra ritual, led by Achyuta Samanta, was a central part of the festivities. The procession of chariots, carrying Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra, drew thousands of devotees. The chariot of Devi Subhadra was pulled by women devotees. The festival featured continuous religious recitations. The Gundicha temple was the location for evening Bhajan Samaroh. At Devboomi, the traditional rituals of Puri Jagannath Rath Yatra were followed. The chariots of the deities moved through the township. Key figures like Naveen Jindal, Shallu Jindal, and Savitri Jindal participated in the event. Naveen Jindal offered prayers and performed the Chhera Pahanra. The Jindal Foundation offered services to the devotees. The Rath Yatra was available online. The celebrations in Jindal Nagar will continue until July 8.
