England welcomes back Jofra Archer to the Test squad for the upcoming second Test against India at Edgbaston. Archer, who last played a Test match in February 2021, is eager to showcase his skills in the red-ball format once more.
Archer’s comeback to red-ball cricket involved a game against Durham in Chester-le-Street, which resulted in a draw.
The England Cricket Board announced Archer’s inclusion via social media.
Archer’s absence from the ODI series against the West Indies was due to a thumb injury sustained during his IPL stint with Rajasthan Royals.
