Dhanush’s latest film, ‘Kuberaa,’ directed by Sekhar Kammula, is making waves in theaters, drawing praise from viewers and achieving impressive box office numbers.
According to early estimates, the film earned ₹5.50 crore on its fifth day, accumulating a total of ₹60.90 crore.
Sekhar Kammula explained that ‘Kuberaa’ contrasts a wealthy, greedy man with a humble beggar played by Dhanush. The film’s premise stems from a simple idea he had years ago, which developed into the current script. He felt that Dhanush was the only actor who could portray the complex role of the beggar. Nagarjuna was selected for the role of the rich man, as Kammula believed his ability to constantly evolve would be a great fit. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh.
