A man in Patna was murdered by his nephew in a premeditated attack. The victim, Suraj Yadav, was shot inside his home in the Kankarbagh area. The assailant, identified as Jhunjhunu Yadav, fired two shots at his uncle, resulting in fatal injuries. The motive appears to be rooted in long-standing family conflicts, exacerbated by the uncle’s recent retirement from the secretariat.
Jhunjhunu, previously employed as a cook in the Indian Army before being removed due to misconduct, had repeatedly clashed with his uncle. Locals reported that Jhunjhunu had previously threatened his uncle. The victim’s daughter disclosed that her cousin harbored resentment towards their family’s prosperity and had issued death threats. Police responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the murder.
