An unsettling situation has unfolded in the Durg district of Chhattisgarh, where the bodies of two children have been found in wells. The discovery has sent shockwaves through the community. Police responded swiftly, establishing a case and beginning an inquiry. The Amleshwar police confirmed the finding of the two deceased children.
The incident took place in Khamharia village, within the Patan block. The police were notified by villagers about a foul odor coming from two wells. Upon arrival, the Amleshwar police, along with local residents, recovered the bodies. The children’s hands and feet were bound, indicating a potential homicide. The bodies are estimated to be around four days old.
The ages of the children are estimated to be about 10 and 12 years old. The identities of the victims are currently unknown. A forensic team has been called to the scene to assist with the ongoing investigation.
