In a student-centric move, Chief Minister Sai announced a CBI investigation into corruption in exams like the PSC. Additionally, the district of Jashpur will see the establishment of a medical college, an agricultural college, along with colleges for horticulture, nursing, naturopathy, and physiotherapy.
Nalanda Complex: A Modern 24×7 Study Hub
The Nalanda complex will offer round-the-clock study facilities, similar to those available in major cities. The complex will include indoor and outdoor study areas, as well as an ‘Oxi Reading Zone,’ designed for connecting with nature. Operating on an autonomous model, the complex will prioritize environmental sustainability, powered by solar energy.
The eco-friendly design will minimize electricity consumption, with plans to plant more than 50 native plant species. The complex will cater to the comprehensive development of the youth, with facilities such as a Youth Tower, sports courts, a cafeteria, ATM, and a health zone. The project will adopt a self-financed operational model. The library will house over 50,000 books, a digital library, Wi-Fi zones, and resources for competitive examinations. It will include an RFID-based entry system, biometric IDs, RFID for book tracking, and a software-based book management system.
