Thakur characterized the situation as a criminal act, not just administrative mismanagement. The former CM also raised concerns about the lack of transparency, including the failure to release CCTV footage from examination centers. He noted that allegations included the use of mobile phones in exam halls and the absence of invigilators stopping the cheating. Thakur also highlighted the arrest of individuals in the case but emphasized that more comprehensive investigations were needed.
