S8UL, the Indian esports organization, is set to make a significant impact at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025 in Riyadh. The team has qualified for the grand finals in Apex Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), and EAFC 25, solidifying its position on the global stage. With a prize pool of USD 70 million, the EWC 2025 is poised to be the largest esports event in history, offering a major platform for S8UL to represent India.
The Apex Legends team, featuring Sharky, Jesko, and Legacy, secured their place through the ALGS 2025 Split 1 Pro League (APAC South). The team will now participate in the ALGS Midseason Playoffs at the EWC, with the playoffs taking place from July 10-13 (IST).
In EAFC 25, Jonny is set to represent India, having qualified for the FC Pro 25 World Championship, taking place from August 7-10 (IST). Also in contention is Happy, who has qualified for the Play-Ins.
The MLBB team, consisting of MobaZane, FwydChickn, Hoon, ZIA, Shark, and Bestplayer1, earned their grand final berth following a strong performance in the NACT Spring Season. The team will now play in the MLBB Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2025 at the EWC. The MSC 2025 offers a prize pool of USD 3 million.
Additional S8UL members are still vying for EWC spots in Chess, StarCraft II, and fighting games.
