The anticipation surrounding Aamir Khan’s comeback with ‘Sitaare Zameen Par,’ the spiritual follow-up to the beloved ‘Taare Zameen Par,’ is palpable. The film delves into the lives of specially-abled children, with Aamir portraying a basketball coach. To the delight of fans, a BTS video has surfaced, capturing a surprise visit from Shah Rukh Khan.
The video shows Shah Rukh arriving on set, greeted enthusiastically by the cast. He recounted Aamir’s repeated invitations, saying, “Aamir has told me at least 10 times… he is calling me also, saying, ‘Please come. Please come.’” SRK engaged with the cast, asking about their experiences and taking pictures. Young actors spoke of their favorite SRK films like ‘Chak De! India’ and ‘Don,’ and the atmosphere reached its peak when Shah Rukh performed his signature pose.
The film, directed by RS Prasanna and starring Genelia D’Souza, is scheduled for release on June 20. It is a remake of the Spanish film ‘Campeones’. ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ recently encountered a hurdle with the CBFC, which requested cuts; however, the film has now been approved after the initial disagreement.
