A Delhi-bound Air India flight, identified as AI 315, was forced to return to Hong Kong after the pilot reported a technical issue during the flight on Monday. The aircraft was a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, which had taken off from Hong Kong.
Adding to the aviation incidents, a Saudia Airlines aircraft carrying 250 Hajj pilgrims experienced a technical malfunction upon landing at Lucknow Airport on Sunday. The landing gear of the plane developed a problem. According to airport officials, smoke and sparks were seen emanating from a wheel after the plane touched down. Flight SV 3112 had departed from Jeddah at 10:45 PM on Saturday and landed in Lucknow at approximately 6:30 AM on Sunday. The pilot alerted Air Traffic Control (ATC) immediately. The plane was subsequently moved to the taxiway, and passengers were safely evacuated. The emergency response team quickly extinguished the sparks.
