The Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) Stage-I measures, previously implemented in Delhi-NCR, have been revoked due to improved air quality. The Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi has dropped to 140, prompting the CAQM to lift the restrictions. This AQI level, while still presenting a risk to sensitive groups, indicates a move out of the ‘Poor’ category. The Sub-Committee on GRAP reviewed the current air quality and forecasts, with the IMD predicting continued moderate air quality. The CAQM’s order emphasized the importance of all regional agencies adhering to existing environmental regulations to sustain the improved air quality.
