Following the bridge collapse over the Indrayani River, the Pune district administration has announced Rs 5 lakh in financial aid to the families of each of the four deceased. A total of 55 people were involved in the incident, with 51 rescued and 38 receiving hospital treatment. An aerial survey was carried out to finalize the search efforts. A team, involving members from the Irrigation, Public Works, Forest, and Police departments, is investigating the collapse. The administration is also seeking structural reports on old bridges and advising the public to avoid such locations during the monsoon due to increased risks.
