The State Investigation Agency (SIA) will conduct an investigation into the IED blast in Sukma that resulted in the death of ASP Akash Rao. The Home Department has tasked the SIA with a comprehensive investigation into this sensitive case.
The investigation team is composed of six police officers, including officials at the SP, ASP, TI, and SI levels. The team will meticulously examine every facet of the blast. DGP Arun Dev Gautam and SIA Director Ankit Garg have issued special directives to the team, emphasizing the need to identify and arrest the Naxals involved promptly.
According to sources, the SIA team is scheduled to travel to Sukma within the next two days to inspect the site and gather evidence.
The key goals of this investigation are:
* Determining the Naxal group responsible for the IED blast.
* Exposing the network that assisted them in their plot.
* Arresting the individuals involved and dismantling the entire operational structure.
In the meantime, the government has expressed its respect for the sacrifice of ASP Akash Rao, promising that those accountable will face justice.
