The Suzuki Swift Sport could be making its way to India, according to a recent report detailing the unveiling of a new design. The Japanese website showcased a refreshed Swift Sport, alongside a potential Toyota Starlet model, sparking interest in the Indian automotive market. The new Swift Sport iteration could feature a 1.4L Inline 4 Cylinder Turbo engine paired with a 48V mild Hybrid system, alongside performance-focused modifications to the body and suspension. Suzuki has previously launched performance hatchbacks in India, including the Baleno RS, which used a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo engine. The existing Swift Sport is known for its robust build, featuring components like rigid axle supports and tuned coil springs. While the global release of the refreshed Swift Sport is slated for 2025, an India launch could follow, potentially powered by a 1-liter turbo engine to suit the Indian market. The new design introduces a revamped front fascia, a redesigned grille, and sporty elements such as alloy wheels and red calipers, offering a more aggressive stance.
