In a disturbing incident of public violence, traffic police officers were attacked by auto-rickshaw drivers in Ranchi. The incident occurred at Kathal Morh in the Nagri police station area. Footage of the assault, now circulating online, depicts the auto drivers relentlessly attacking the officers. One officer, Rohit Ganjhu, was severely injured after being struck with a stone. He is currently receiving medical attention at RIMS hospital. Following the attack, the auto drivers fled the scene. Police are actively searching for the suspects and the Ranchi Traffic SP has assured stringent measures against the perpetrators. The Nagri police station is handling the investigation.
